On to the next step, which is one of my favorites. Design ideas! For this project, I though that the exploration of different simple shapes which then leads to complicated shapes are rly important, so I section my ideas into several pages with a basic shape in mind and of course, also relating to the customer research. What I have found is that she seeks for minimalistic style which doesn’t require complicated shapes, sleek and modern design, so these are the designs that I’ve explored. Overall, I think that my sketches definitely improved from last semester and the forms and the directions of the shadows as well. I am quite happy with my design ideas at this stage as I produced a variety of designs with many style options that I could think of for the next section, which is developing it.
